How to Prepare for Your Tattoo Session?

  1. Make sure to get a good night’s sleep and rest before the session 👌🏽
  2. Eat something in the morning on the day of the session. If the session will be long, it’s a good idea to bring a snack with you.
  3. Avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours before the session. On the morning of the session, avoid coffee and energy drinks.
  4. If the skin in the tattoo area is dry, it’s great if you start moisturizing it with lotion for about 3 days before the session.
  5. Wear appropriate and comfortable clothing that gives access to the area where the tattoo will be done.
  6. It’s not recommended to tan 5–7 days before the session, especially if your skin is prone to irritation.
